Something New to Share
And a Winter Donation
New works branching out of The Tree story, in ways I didn’t expect. And this winter, I’m giving a portion of all sales to a small forest-garden initiative that I love.
The Tree set me on a deeper path than I ever expected.
(If you’re new to The Tree story, you can begin here.)
I had never experienced a true one-to-one relationship with a more-than-human being in my adult life.
Growing up, there were always animals around. Dogs at home, and at my grandmothers’ houses: chickens, roosters, ducks, hamsters. I loved them with all the uncomplicated tenderness of a child, and I felt their absence when they were gone.
But this… this was different.
Because adulthood brings its own noise. The weight of one’s upbringing, the heaviness of the world, things we quietly unlearn every day.
Art is what lifts me above that noise. It’s what helps me hear my intuition clearly, the part of myself that still knows how to listen.
And that is how The Tree and I first began “speaking”. (You may remember)
While preparing the solo show, I stumbled upon a series of sewn symbols from Romanian folk tradition. What I learned surprised me: each symbol carried its own wisdom, a message preserved across generations, passed from hand to hand, thread to thread. This is an exploration unfolding, more in the coming months.
I am thrilled to lift just a corner of the veil on this new collection.
Two of these works found their homes before the paint was fully dry on my studio walls.
If you’re curious to see where this journey has led next, you can explore the new works, and others, in the Collector’s Room, open until December 31st.

And this winter, your curiosity can create something good.
For every artwork purchased, 10% will be donated to Jardin-Forêt Suisse. They are a small, devoted non-profit designing and teaching forest-garden ecosystems. These living systems mirror the intelligence of wild forests: trees, shrubs, herbs, and vegetables growing together, regenerating soil, supporting biodiversity, and producing sustainable, local food.
It feels right that The Tree’s story continues by nourishing new roots elsewhere.
Thank you for helping make the world a little better, through art, through nature, through attention.
With gratitude,
Brindusa x
