This practice is a great classic of mine. I get back to it, every time I need to balance stress and creativity. Setting up the page with squares forces you to focus, get organised and present. You will notice, if your mind is not at it, the squares all end up wrong or wonky. Within the safety of the square border however, you can let your mind wonder and create.
You will have tried this before, in the very first post. However, this time the rules are strict: you are allowed only curvy lines and none of them should repeat. There is not much guidance you will need from me here, just set your page up and free your mind.
Have you enjoyed this week’s practice? If you can afford it, consider supporting the substack so others can benefit for free.
You may also want to share the post with someone who might need this practice.
Final small note: Although you are free to share the artwork, please do so by referencing Brindusa Burrows Art out of respect for my author rights.
Thank you. See you next week!
